Dineen Vermiculite, manufactured in Ireland by exfoliating (expanding by heating) raw vermiculite mineral; is a multi use ultra lightweight product, golden brown in colour, completely natural, free from any additives, non hazardous and irritant free. The manufacturing process involves heating the natural ore at a rapidly rising and controlled rate. Water, combined within the vermiculite turns into steam; resulting in a 25 to 30 times expansion, creating air pockets within its structure, somewhat reminiscent of a concertina. The inter laminar air spaces created, imparting excellent thermal insulation properties on the material.

The raw vermiculite is mined and graded in varying parts of the world prior to being exfoliated in our plant.
